This tree house was just a part of a much bigger project - you can see more pictures and information in our bespoke section.
A tree house despite there being no trees at the site? Luckily the Forestry Commission had little trouble in locating a suitable trunk so work could begin. Part of the brief was that it shouldn’t look too “professionally built” and we hope the quirky look fulfilled that requirement. Also it had to be appealing to most visitors, hence a gangplank for anyone not wanting to use the wide vertical ladder and a seat located around the tree base for anyone wanting a well earned rest from walking this extensive estate.
