WETPOUR

Arguably the best surface available. Wetpour (sometimes called spongy Tarmac) is laid over a prepared surface or existing tarmac and the depth varied to suit the play equipment safety requirements in terms of critical fall heights. Black is probably the most commonly used colour but it can flecked with another; either lightly or more heavily for greater impact. Solid colours can be eye-catching and fun – so can graphics that make the play area even more stimulating for children and can be designed to tie-in with a themed space.
  A picture is worth a thousand words and although small, this area at Clare Park Nursery is clearly much improved by the Wetpour surface with graphics.
