SAFAGRASS
Safagrass can help turn a well worn mud patch into a lovely, verdant green sward that remains cool in summer and generally only requires mowing in the usual way. Additionally its properties as a safety surface are excellent giving a critical fall height of 3m although this is dependant on maintaining good grass growth and reasonable ground conditions. The mats are laid over a stabilising mesh either directly onto the grass or earth that has been sown with grass seed. Obviously regular watering is required until the grass is established which can then be mown in the normal way.

Following installation the mats will be very obvious but with your attention and watering, grass will soon become visible and ultimately the mats will not be on show. |

The children at Oakfield Nursery spend plenty of time playing outside - the patchy grass in the smaller image bares testament to that encouraging fact. However, the Safagrass mats have enabled the grass to establish as you can see it’s well on it’s way - and doesn’t it look wonderfully inviting? |
