RUBBER CHIPPINGS

This is a relatively new material derived from 100% recycled materials that have been treated with a citrus aroma to discourage animals. These rubber chippings are available in five colours and as they do not degrade, blow away or compact only occasional topping up is necessary. The impact absorbing qualities of this material mean that it can achieve a critical fall height of 3m. As with bark, an edging or excavated pit is necessary to contain the chippings.

 Colour uv resistant so will not fade and being rubber will not absorb water. Rubber is resistant to freezing and thus will not crumble due to frost.
