The opportunities for enhanced learning have been greatly expanded at St Christopher Primary School in Coventry.
For making musical sounds; Jungle Drums are the centrepiece around which are Chimes, Glockenspiel, Drain Pipes and Triangles are arranged. A short walk along the grass protection mats that will soon be hidden under a good covering of grass delivers you to a large Gazebo with perimeter seating beyond which is a Story Telling area. Located here is a Fabulous Chair, hand engraved with “Learning Through Enjoyment” together with bench seating also perfect for an outdoor informal discussion group. Alongside is a decked, open structure and this Outdoor Teaching Pergola is a wonderful facility for larger groups to meet for teaching and discussion sessions.
