A raised stage to brighten an underused corner

Christchurch Primary School is lucky enough to have a wonderfully large playground with a dramatic castellated walled corner that was under utilized and a bit forgotten.
The answer was an attractive raised stage with Chinese style detailing and two circular panels on the walls that were a particular request of the school. Outdoor assemblies can be much more fun for everyone and children are encouraged to take part in dance, role-play and imaginative play – all forms of communication and creative development in fact will be easier to organise in an area that is a fantastic resource for all users.
