From time to time it may be necessary for Plane & Simple to change, remove or alter information contained in this site. As you will be bound by any new terms you should read these terms each time you use or make a purchase from the site.
The terms set out below are offered in addition to your statutory rights.
The terms set out below are binding and supplant any made by our agents.
Your use of this site and the terms set out below are in accordance with English and Welsh law and any disputes arising between us will be settled.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing your order from the Plane & Simple.co.uk site, as you will be bound by them.
There may be statements within these terms that are also found in the Privacy, Payment, Returns and Refunds and Order and Delivery sections.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:
Contract – the sale by us and purchase by you of goods.
Goods – the items that are available to purchase from this site.
Site – Our on line shop that forms part of our website, the address of which is www.planeandsimple.co.uk
We are – Plane & Simple Ltd.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information contained in our site, we will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies and disclaim all warranties and representation whether implied or expressed as permitted by law. At Plane & Simple, we want you to be happy with your purchase(s) and would urge you to contact us prior to making your choices should there be any aspect of the purchase about which you are unsure.
We are not responsible for any losses or damages howsoever incurred as a result of late/non delivery of any product(s) purchased through our website.
2. This Site and its use.
The content of this site is wholly owned by or licensed to Plane & Simple Ltd. While you may view and print individual pages for your own use, it is expressly forbidden to reproduce, distribute or display etc. any pages or part of this site without our prior written consent.
We will make every effort to ensure the efficiency of our site but cannot be held liable for any loss or damages incurred due to operational errors nor do we guarantee that our site is free from viruses etc.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage incurred through the use of information or advice given in our website except where we are deemed liable under British law.
We aim to have garden furniture and the associated accessories in stock for quick despatch at all times but should we run out of stock during periods of heavy demand, we will advise you as soon as possible.
We will retain your details to process your orders but will not divulge this information to a non-essential third party. Please see our Ordering & Despatch and Privacy Policy for further information.
3. Items offered for sale
It is our intention to offer you high quality goods (most of which have been manufactured in our own workshops) and provide a first class service.
Most of the items offered for sale will be despatched in flat-packed form and so some assembly will be required.
Some items offered for sale on our website are not manufactured by us and may not be available from stock held by us. We will endeavour to ensure these products are available for delivery within the suggested delivery period but if a delay is inevitable and beyond our control we aim to advise you as soon as possible.
In addition some items not manufactured by us will be delivered by another supplier who will contact you to arrange delivery etc. We will advise you should this be the case.
We aim to deliver products manufactured by us within 10 – 14 working days of receiving your order and payment. In the event of your paying by cheque, we deem receipt of order to mean receipt of your cheque.
Items available for sale on our Homes & Gardens section are for use in a residential setting only. Products sold through our Commercial & Leisure or Schools & Nursery sections have been designed to be more robust and thus able to cope with the higher levels of wear and tear that is an inevitable consequence.

It is our intention to offer you high quality goods (most of which will have been manufactured for you in our own workshops) and provide a first class service. Most of the items offered for sale will be despatched in flat-packed form and so some assembly will be required. We have included the dimensions and weight of most items in the product description within the website and it is your responsibility to ensure that access and intended location size is adequate.
The carriers we use are required only to deliver the goods to the curtilage of your property. Please be aware that many of our products – even in their flat packed state – are heavy so do satisfy yourself that you are able to carry the items.
Generally, we aim to dispatch your order within 10 – 14 working days from receipt of order; we guarantee to deliver all orders within 28 working days. If we are unable to deliver within 28 days we will contact you before proceeding with your order.
Working Days are defined as Monday – Friday and exclude public holidays.
5. Ordering & Despatch.
When you place your order you will receive an automatically generated receipt e-mail. We will also e-mail you with a confirmation of your order and expected delivery date. This email does not constitute a contract between us, and Plane & Simple may withdraw the offer to supply at any time prior to despatch.
We will need your name, email address, delivery address, daytime contact telephone number and any other details useful in the event of needing to contact you urgently – particularly useful for our carriers. Please be aware that whilst it is necessary to make this information available to our delivery companies, we do not share this information with any other companies at any time.

All timber garden furniture and associated accessories will be despatched from our workshops as will the majority of products offered for sale; a few products will be delivered direct by other suppliers and thus you may receive more than one delivery.
Standard delivery to addresses in mainland England and Wales is via one of our approved carriers Delivery is between Monday and Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm. We will advise delivery day prior to despatch. Customers in Scotland, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Isle Of Man and Northern Ireland should call Customer Services on 01622 842444 or email customerservices@planeandsimple.co.uk as we may be able to arrange delivery for certain items (an additional charge will apply).

6. Delivery
Please be aware that the majority of products available on our website are despatched in flat pack form. We aim to ensure that individual packages weigh less than 25kg but you must assure youreself that you are able to carry them prior to purchase.
We have included the dimensions and weight of most items in the product description within the website and it is your responsibility to ensure that access and intended location size is adequate. Please be aware that many large items will be delivered on a pallet via a large lorry for which there must be sufficient access. If in doubt, please talk to customer services on 01622 842444.
The carriers we use are required only to deliver the goods to the curtilage of your property.
We strongly recommend that you receive the delivery personally. If you are unable to be present, you must make us aware in writing by emailing customer services@planeandsimple.co.uk and we will advise the carrier to leave them on your property. The items are left at your own risk and no claim for non-delivered or damaged goods can be entertained.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK THE DELIVERY PRIOR TO SIGNING THE DELIVERY NOTE.
The goods and packaging will leave us in perfect condition. Please check :
a) That you receive the number of packages stated on the delivery note.
b) If there is any damage to the packaging, please sign for as “damaged”.
c) If the damage is significant you may prefer to reject the delivery.
All items that have been damaged in transit MUST be reported to us by either calling 01622 842444 or emailing us at customer services@planeandsimple.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to do so may result in the item(s) not being replaced.
8. Making Payment.
Having placed your order you will be taken through to the PayPal website to complete the transaction.

All prices quoted are in British Pounds (£). Prices shown are inclusive of delivery.
Prices for items purchased are shown exclusive of VAT which will be charged in addition and at the rate prevailing at the time of order.
9. Cancelling your order
You can cancel your order without any charge at any time prior to despatch by simply emailing us with your instruction. You do not need to provide a reason. Once the goods are in transit, you may still cancel your order within 7 days of receipt without providing any reason by emailing us at customer services@planeandsimple.co.uk but we reserve the right to make a charge for all carriage costs incurred.
10. Returns and Refunds
We want you to be delighted with your purchase, so if you are unhappy with your item(s) you can return any item in its original condition, for any reason, within 7 days of receipt for a refund or a replacement. Contact our customer services via email at customer services@planeandsimple.co.uk. All shortages and damages must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours.
The following is not intended to affect your statutory rights.
Standard Items:
Any item must be received by us before a refund or replacement can be issued.
Items must be received by us within 14 days of delivery to you in order to qualify for refund.
Returned items must be unused and complete.
The cost of returning items is your responsibility except where marked * below. However, it may be possible for us to arrange collection on your behalf, please contact customer services for more information on 01622 842444 or email customerservices@planeandsimple.co.uk.
The item(s) are your responsibility until returned to our workshops. If you are arranging return, we recommend you use a service that insures you for the value of the products.
Full refunds will be made within 14 working days of us receiving and checking the items from you, excluding the original delivery charge incurred by us.
In the unlikely event of you not being completely satisfied with your purchase, you can reject part or all of your order any time within 7 days of receipt by emailing us at customer services@planeandsimple.co.uk. In the case of large items, you may prefer that we arrange collection. Please call us on 01622 842444 or email customerservices@planeandsimple.co.uk to determine the carriage cost.
Goods must be received by us in original condition; we will charge carriage costs incurred (if applicable) and reserve the right to levy a restocking charge of 25% where goods have been correctly supplied. We will refund your money within 14 days.
*Where we have made a mistake or items are faulty, we will effect collection and either arrange with you to receive the correct item(s), or, if you prefer we will refund all monies including carriage charges within 30 days.
Bespoke Items:
Where we have correctly delivered a bespoke item, tailor made to your specification, we will not accept its return for refund unless the item is damaged and the delivery note has been noted as such.
PRIVACY POLICY.
1. General
It is our aim to protect your privacy at all times. If you have any queries or comments about our Privacy Policy, please email us at customerservices@planeandsimple.co.uk since we value your opinions.
Changes to our Privacy Policy may have to be made from time to time. In order that you can be aware of those changes and the information we collect, they will always be posted via this page on our website.
If you feel we hold inaccurate information on you please ask for a copy of that information. Should there indeed be any inaccuracies, you should advise us so that these inaccuracies can be corrected.
Except information needed by our carriers or other suppliers to effect the delivery of your order, no information is ever shared with, rented or sold to third parties.
You consent to us collecting and using the information as described below by using our site.
2. The Information We Hold And What We Do With It.
When you place an order, we need to know your name, your e-mail address, delivery address, home landline and daytime telephone numbers and any other contact information (for example a mobile telephone number) that will be useful, particularly for our carriers who may need to contact you directly. We will not hold your credit/debit card information as this will be collected through the PayPal system. Please see Cookies for information.
From time to time we may use the information to contact you with news that we think may be of interest. If you do not want to receive any mailings from us, please contact our customer services at customerservices@planeandsimple.co.uk
3. Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer’s hard drive. They can be turned off within your browser, however you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. We use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. The information collected is necessary to:
a) Take and fulfil customer orders.
b) Administer and enhance the site and service.
c) Issue a unique identifier made available to PayPal.
