Force 10 Giant Umbrella
These are not large parasols but permanent super strong umbrellas that can be left up almost all year round – needing to be let down only ahead of very high winds or snow to prevent damage to the canopy. These are undoubtedly one of the strongest umbrellas available – tested to withstand winds up to Beaufort scale 10.
The walls of the white, powder coated mast are 5mm thick and the arms tested to withstand a load bearing of 100kg. The heavyweight fabric called Sunacryl is fire retardant, stain resistant and offered in 4 standard colours – green, blue, red and natural with others available.
Shade and Free Flow Provision
The Force 10 umbrella is easy to use and a colourful playground resource that will be used to the full, providing shade during the summer for outside lessons that will be a welcome change from the classroom.
Protected from the worst of the elements during wet weather, children can continue to enjoy being outside and taking advantage of the requirement for Free Flow provision.
Choose from square, octagonal or rectangular and a choice of sizes. We offer a complete installation service in accordance with manufacturer’s directions together with full use and maintenance instruction. A post installation maintenance service is also available.

Play Panels
Play panels, some of which have moving parts, can be positioned on a tower or other structure or as a free standing unit. Use for education, for interest, for fun and whilst the list of panels shown here is extensive it’s not exhaustive. We are also able to offer different colour options and personalized panels to enhance a themed area – for example the Pugwash panel which was used in an HMS Your Ship tower project
